We are pleased to announce that the Lustre 2.17.0 Release has been declared GA and is available for download. You can also grab the source from git.
This major release includes new features:

Dynamic LNet NID Configuration Improved online configuration of LNet interfaces (LU-18815)
Nodemap Enhancements Dynamic Nodemaps to support more sophisticated multi-tenancy options (LU-17431)

This release is dedicated to the memory of Frank Sehr who was a member of the LNet development team. Frank passed away suddenly this summer and is missed by both the Lustre developers and the customers of the Surf Lodge Pub where he regularly played music.
